And why would they bring up a fight Corrie had with Albus in an article about such a nice thing like a wedding? I thought it was completely inappropriate, and I have half a mind to write in and tell them so.

While I've been spending most of my time indoors working on a project with my mother, it has been lovely to be back in Russia! I got a new pair of skates for Christmas, so of course I must test them out. (That's what was written above, in case you can't be bothered with a translation charm?)

I do hope that everyone's study is going well, particularly those of you who don't speak English as a first language? Exams do make me nervous, but I suppose it's good preparation for OWLs? And we have the holidays to relax and have fun afterwards. I'm looking forward to going back to Saint Petersburg and ice skating?

Most people who know me will likely also know Maddie Ruschak? She is my very good friend and also speaks Russian.

Anyway, after our last exam on Friday, we wanted to destress a little? And Maddie wanted to try some new techniques? So we got our cameras and took photos, and these are some of my results.

So in all we had a very fun evening, and it was nice to get away from our books for a while.

While I have been quite open about adopting Durmstrang as my team for the tournament, I was still quite pleased that Hogwarts won. Several of my housemates are players, and for their sake I was hoping that the school team would do well too?

So in honour of the win, I have been working on this for the past week.

The snow from a few weeks ago was all very nice. All the different colours merged surprisingly well together? Perhaps I will use that as inspiration for my next scarf.
